All pricing ,information and images provided on this website are done so in good faith using information obtained from suppliers, manufacturers and other Internet sources and are thus subject to change without prior notice . We do our best to ensure that this information is as accurate as possible, but cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions

While every care is taken to ensure that product images , prices and information are correct , mistakes do happen . If there is a product price increase that will lead to us making a loss if the sale is continued, we will notify you of a price change and you will be able to cancel or continue the transaction.

Please note that before you are Quoted , pricing is not binding until your order has confirmed by us and has been paid for. Before this point, all orders are pending . The price of any product shall be confirmed by our sales in the form of a Quote .If the price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before accepting your order or notify you that the order has not been accepted.

 

AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

 

All products are subject to availability and may become “out of stock” between the period between the Quote and payment confirmation. If we do not supply the goods for any reason and payment has been made we will refund any money already paid . However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

 

DELIVERY AND ACCEPTING GOODS

 

It is your responsibility to ensure that there is a responsible person at the delivery address to inspect and to sign for the goods. We cannot accept liability for goods that have been signed for in error . Please note that our couriers will bill you if no one is at the address on the day of delivery

 

PRICE CHANGES

 

Please note that Prices and configurations are subject to change due to rand fluctuations and stock availability

Due to the nature of pre-orders , prices are subject to change and depend on the distributor importing the games – if the imported cost of the goods went up from the time the goods were ordered to the release date , you will be given the option to cancell your order , or make payment for the new amount

 

WARRANTYS . RETURNS AND REFUNDS

 

ALL IMPORTED ITEMS HAVE A 1 MONTH WARRANTY

 

All products are covered by the manufacturers original warranty. Please note that the final decision on swap outs / repairs / returns is made by the manufacturer and their decision is binding on the condition of sale . Courier charges are for the clients account.

Software/Games are strictly non-returnable once opened – in the case of a faulty installation / keycode in use , we will refer you to the distrubutors helpline and the final decision lies with the respective company .

If the wrong products were dispatched by ZAPS , or if the dispatched products were faulty and notification is made 48 hours after delivery , ZAPS will replace the products free of charge and will cover all shipping charges

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the items purchased, you may return the products for a refund. All products need to be sealed and in its original, unopened condition. The customer will be liable for the shipping charges to return the product, and also for an additional handling fee of 10% if the order was a specialty item ordered in for the customer.

Please note that it is a supplier condition of sale. The acceptance of the return of any goods is at the sole discretion of the supplier and this clause shall not be used to imply that the supplier shall be obliged to accept the return of any goods.

The supplier reserves the right to levy a handling fee of 10% of the purchase price of the relevant goods on such goods being returned to and accepted by the supplier. However , if the items returned are a standard stock item of ours , we will not charge you the handling fee ( Please make sure of your order before payment is made) The shipping and handling fee will be calculated by ZAPS and deducted from the refunded amount.

All products supplied carry the Manufacturers Warranty and periods do vary between 1 month and 2 years .If you are unsure what the warranty of a product is, please feel free to contact our customer services at sales@zaps.co.za (011) 789-9747 and we will varify the warranty on the item in question . Note that all imported items have a 1 month warranty

Special warranty conditions apply to all electronic equipment. The warranty of the product(s) will be void if the items are written on or tampered with, or if the label or serial number has been removed. Please note that reattached labels, barcodes or serial numbers after accidental removal voids the warranty of the product.

A component will also be declared void and out of warranty if the product(s) are mishandled, if there is any physical damage or burn marks on the product or any evidence of being struck by lightening or power surges. All conditions that constitute a void of the warranty of the product(s) will be determined by the manufacturer/supplier of the product(s). Please note that if there is any physical damage to an item , it is send back to us by our suppliers as user damaged and the warranty is void.

Electronic goods may be returned for testing during its warranty period. If however, the product is found not to be faulty, or if the product was mishandled or struck by lightening, shipping charges to and from the customer, as well as a handling fee of 10% of the product(s) value will be charged to the customer.

DVD’s, CD’s, Games and Computer Software cannot be returned for a refund once they have been opened, and will only be replaced (if defective) for the same product(s). All original packaging and extra material e.g. manuals must be included with the returned product(s). Any scratched CD’s will not be taken back

ZAPS cannot be held responsible for compatibility issues with hardware, software or printer cartridges bought. Please make sure that the product(s) being purchased is compatible with your current software, hardware configuration or printer. If a product was bought that is not compatible with your current software, hardware configuration or printer, the product(s) may be returned if the product(s) is unopened and still in its original packaging. The customer will be responsible for all the shipping charges, as well as a handling fee of 10% of the products value.

Manufacturers of LCD monitors / Products ( LG , SAMSUNG , ACER, Sony , HP …. ) do allow for a certain number of dead pixels on a monitor/ Handheld before they will consider a replacement . This allowance differs by a few pixels but as a guide use the Samsung dead pixel warranty below . If you are concerned about the dead pixel policy from a manufacturer , please ask us before the package is opened as no claims will be considered once the seal on the container has been broken – this is a policy determined by industry and not by ZAPS
